  • 1976 F.P. Journe graduates fro the Ecole d'horlogerie de Paris.
  • 1982 Journe creates his first tourbillon packet-watch.
  • 1985 He opens his first workshop in Paris.
  • 1986 Creates an automatic chronometer pocket-watch.
  • 1991 The creation of the prototype for the Tourbillon Souverain model marks the first wristwatch for the company.
  • 1999 Launches a collection of chronometers which he presents at Basel.
  • 2000 Opens a workshop in Geneva.
  • 2001 The first F.P. Journe automatic movement is introduced.
  • 2003 Opens a boutique in Tokyo.
  • 2006 A boutique is opened in Hong Kong.
  • 2007 A boutique is opened in Geneva.
  • 2007 A boutique is opened in Geneva.
